Booking & Experience

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples reserve their date 8–18 months in advance. We take on a limited number of weddings each season, so earlier is always best—especially for peak dates.

Do you take on a limited number of weddings each year?

We do. It allows us to stay present, intentional, and fully invested in every celebration we take on.

What is required to secure our date?

A signed contract and a retainer of 25% are all that’s needed. From there, your date is officially yours.

Can we meet before booking?

Of course. We’re always happy to connect, whether that’s over a call or something more informal. It should feel like a natural fit on both sides. Book a time to connect here.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, often. While we’re based in Ottawa, we photograph weddings wherever the story takes us.

Do you offer personalized wedding photography in Ottawa?

We do. Every wedding is approached with intention, no two are documented the same way. From the initial consultation to the final gallery, the experience is tailored to reflect each couple and their day.

How much does wedding photography cost?

Wedding collections range from $5,000.00 CAD to $10,000.00 CAD + tax, depending on coverage, the day’s flow, and your unique needs. Every package is tailored to create an experience that feels intentional and personal.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We can structure a payment plan to make your collection more manageable, while still ensuring your date is secured.

Do you provide custom packages?

Yes. Every wedding and session is different. We’re happy to craft a custom proposal that aligns with your vision, coverage needs, and desired format.

Do you offer smaller sessions or portrait sessions?

Yes. Engagement, maternity, newborn, and family sessions are available, with collections ranging from $500.00 CAD to $1,000.00 CAD + tax.

How do you tailor your photography to each couple?

It begins with a conversation. A consultation where we understand you, what you’re drawn to, who you can’t imagine the day without, what you’re quietly most excited for. That becomes the foundation.

From there, we stay close. Communication is considered and consistent, you’re never left guessing, never navigating it alone. As your plans take shape, we send a tailored questionnaire that goes deeper than logistics. It’s about mood, references, energy, the feeling you want to step into.

Ahead of the wedding, we refine everything together. A call to shape the timeline, to edit the noise, to define what actually matters.

Behind the scenes, we study your setting, light at different hours, architectural lines, the way a space holds people. We arrive early, move through each room, and settle in before anything begins.

When you step into your wedding day, it feels seamless because everything has already been thoughtfully composed.

Style & Ethos

How would you describe your photography style?

Editorial with intention. A balance of direction and observation, a sweet spot we like to call invisible direction.

Do you shoot on film?

We do. Film is an integral part of how we document a wedding day. A mix of 35mm, medium format, and the occasional Polaroid, each chosen for its texture, tone, and way of holding a moment.

Why choose film wedding photography?

Film has a way of softening everything in the right places. The tones, the grain, the way it handles light, it feels considered without trying too hard. It’s less about perfection, more about presence.

Do you shoot both film and digital?

Yes. Digital allows for fluidity; film brings depth. Together, they create a gallery that feels both timeless and immediate.

Will you guide us, or is everything candid?

A bit of both. We’ll step in when needed, but we’re just as attentive to what happens naturally.

Why combine editorial and documentary styles?

Editorial gives structure, line, and refinement. Documentary captures spontaneity and emotion. Together, they create a gallery that’s both polished and alive.

How do you make couples feel at ease?

We remove performance. Through subtle guidance, playful cues, and quiet reassurance, your moments feel real, not posed. Laughter, tenderness, and connection happen naturally.

How do you ensure your work feels timeless?

Through restraint and intention. We avoid trends that age quickly, instead focusing on composition, emotion, and light, so your images feel as elegant ten years from now as they do today.

Logistics

How many images will we receive?

Each gallery is curated with intention, typically ranging between 400–800 images depending on the flow of the day.

What is your turnaround time?

Full galleries are delivered within 12 weeks. Smaller session turnaround time is 2 weeks. Film is developed and woven in seamlessly around 4 weeks with our partners at All Things Film.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes, and we always recommend them. It’s an easy way to settle into the rhythm of being photographed.

Will you help with our timeline?

Absolutely. We’ll guide you through a timeline that allows everything to flow naturally while making space for what matters most.

Do you work with a second photographer?

For most weddings, yes. It allows for a more complete and layered perspective of the day.

What happens if it rains?

We lean into it. Some of the most beautiful moments happen when plans shift slightly.
