Photography is my ikigai, my reason for being. It’s how I observe, interpret, and honour the subtleties of human connection. I’m drawn to the quiet gestures and the honest pauses, to the way emotion moves through a frame.

Working with me is calm and collaborative. I don’t rely on performance or over-direction. I offer guidance when needed, and trust you to bring your own natural energy. My style is rooted in thoughtful composition, and sincere emotion. I work in tones and textures that are true to your day.

My path in photography began with my grandfather, the photographer of our hometown in Napanee. I still use his original film cameras with the MJM Photo emblem worn onto the casing. Our eyes are different, but the respect for documenting life remains the same.

While I lead every wedding, Adam joins me on select weddings to quietly bring his own perspective. He notices the subtle gestures, the in-between moments, and the small details that might otherwise go unseen. Together, we shape each frame thoughtfully, blending our eyes to create galleries that are authentic, considered, and entirely true to your day.
